Today we went for lunch to our friends CJ and Melissa’s house! We had planned to go after Bagel Boat, but Melissa had to work and got off just for lunch at 11, so we had to skip Bagel Boat.
CJ is a great friend, who also has a PhD like me! We are so alike that it is scary sometimes! We had yummy lunch– Melissa cooked us tacos, yummmmm. I brought some homemade Horchata (almond milk, honey, cinnamon, vanilla) to go with it, and it was very tasty, too.
One of the big benefits to going to CJ’s house is that they have three guinea pigs!!!!!! For those who don’t know, guinea pigs are my favorite animal. I got to hold all of the guinea pigs a few different times, and they were lovely! I also got to feed them– I love their little mouths moving!
After Melissa went back to work, we played a racing game and then watched MegaBuilders and Mega Food on Netflix. I got to hold guinea pigs almost the whole time we were watching Netflix!
Hestia was VERY interested in the guinea pigs. She really wanted to sniff them up close, which we didn’t let her do because we didn’t want to scare the piggies! I think she doesn’t have any idea what they are he he he!
Before we left, we made sure to get a few pictures of Hestia with one of the guinea pigs. The one pictured is named Madonna, she is the most chill of the three. Oh yeah, and CJ and I were in the pictures, too lol!
No really, I didn’t just go to their house for the guinea pigs! They were just the cherry on top of the sundae. I love hanging out with CJ and Melissa!
