Glamour headshots gone sideways: Veronica and the pups

In today’s blog entry, it’s me and the dogs! Well, one dog at a time. The setup was too close to hold more than one dog and get everyone in the picture!

The first dog who wanted to come up was Felix. We started out with some basic shots of me holding him and smiling. Then I picked him up so his head was next to my face. I smushed him into my face without realizing it, so there are a few shots where his head is smushed into mine and he’s leaning sideways. Then Felix started yawning, so I yawned along with him, which was pretty funny. But one sign of stress is yawning, so after three yawns, we figured Felix was done and put him down.

Next up was Miss Hestia. I started out holding her more traditionally, on my arm. We took a few glamour shots like that, and you know how photogenic Miss Hestia is! She was loving the camera! Next I picked her up and put her next to my face, and she thought that was an invitation for face lickies! So we got a few shots of her licking me.

Finally it was Alice’s turn. She is so much lighter than the other two! I started out with her next to my face. We took a few portraits, then got a photo of us yawning together. She was just so cute I couldn’t resist squishing her, so Brad got some pictures of that happening, too.

Stay tuned for the last blog entry of the series tomorrow, when we have all three dogs together!
