Hestia watching kids at the pool

Today we had water aerobics!  Miss Hestia realized that there is a window pretty low down on the pool deck that leads to the outside pool where there are loads of kids screaming, jumping, and playing.  So she would take a peek out the window every few minutes to see what the kids were up to.  It was so cute!

Unfortunately Hestia was a bit barky.  She was even barking at me when I was right there next to her.  I couldn’t figure it out, until I did a self check and realized I was starting to get anxious.  I guess if she can’t lick me to alert, she resorts to barking.  Not the response I hoped for, though….  Gotta decide if this is worth retraining since it is so rare that she can’t lick me.  It was really hard to retrain for Ollie.

Anyway, about 5 min before the end of class, Hestia, who had been dozing for the last 15 min, woke up and started barking at me again.  This time I knew why and I went ahead and got out of the pool before the anxiety hit too bad.  Good catch Hestia!
