This morning I wasn’t feeling all that great, so I thought about skipping Bagel Day with our NAMI friends. But I happened to naturally wake up about 10 min before my alarm and took that as a sign I should go.
I always listen to Car Talk on the way to Bagel Boat! Makes me laugh a lot!
I was the first to arrive at Bagel Boat, but others followed soon after. We had a great time talking, laughing, and sharing. My NAMI folks (and my PSDP folks) are my chosen family. Some of us were doing well, others were not, but we all had a good time with each other. I even got a picture! I was very very happy that I ended up going to Bagel Day!

One thing we did decide is that I am going to plan a swimming outing for NAMI folks at the local YMCA. They have a low income subsidy at the Y, for which Brad is filling out the paperwork. Others weren’t aware of this option, so I told everyone about it and I think a lot of people are going to apply! It should be great to do a NAMI outing to swim. I am going to email my friend CJ right after this and start thinking about a day!
On the way home, I listened to The Greatest Showman once again. I really love that CD. I can’t wait for the movie to show up on Netflix. I will drive Brad crazy with incessant watching of The Greatest Showman he he he!
