On Wednesday I saw my ortho again. It’s been about 4 months since surgery, and I’m still having pain almost every time I stand up and if I use it too much. I’m walking 1-2 hours a day total if you add up all my around the house time, and using my wheelchair when I go out.
So I told the doctor, and they said to wait one more month, and if it’s still painful I’ll have to get an MRI. If the MRI shows the surgery didn’t work (which from the pain I’m having I think it didn’t), they want to do a bone graft on my ankle. I don’t think I can manage that surgical recovery again…. so we’ll see.
