Today I met CJ and Dan for lunch and more WRAP training that CJ is doing with us. I met CJ and Dan through NAMI. CJ is even more like me, we both have PhDs and similar views on many things.
Anyway, lunch went well, but after lunch Dan was having some problems. We decided to just hang out and not work on WRAP. It is so nice having friends who understand each others’ illness and can be flexible with what we have planned.
I’m looking forward to next time, even if we don’t get any WRAP stuff done. It’s still fun to hang around with my friends 🙂 Especially when my friends understand my mental illness. Oh yeah, and CJ had leftover Halloween candy! Yummmmmmmmmm!
We all need time with friends with like minds ! High fives all around !!!! Heck yeah candy bonus !!!!
Thanks! Brad is keeping me out of stores for the next week so I am not tempted to buy discounted candy LOL!
Love that you three have each other to share space and experiences with–and chocolate fixes everything, so I’m told 😛
Yes, I am very lucky to actually have more than one or two in person friends here in South Carolina! It’s something I’ve never experienced before! Or at least haven’t experienced since I was an undergrad.
