Horrible to wonderful morning 6

In Hestia’s opinion this morning went from the most horrible thing ever to the most wonderful thing ever!

I needed to go grocery shopping this morning, so before we left I took Hestia for a walk. The only problem was that it was raining. And not just raining a little but pouring! Hestia HATES the rain. She deems it beneath her LOL!

I thought Hestia had to poop, so I figured I just walk her until she pooped and then end her misery. So we started our walk. And we walked. And we walked. And we walked. Hestia kept trying to go home, and I kept forcing her on in the rain, with the puddles, and with the mud. She was sooooo displeased.

We did our normal walking route which takes 20-25 minutes, and still there was no pooping. I really didn’t want her to have an accident in the store, so I walked her some more. Miss Hestia was not happy about that! I ended up dragging her around the neighborhood for about 35-40 minutes. The last 15 minutes I was just repeating over and over again “Go poopy!”. You should have seen the daggers she was shooting me with her eyes!

Finally I gave up, and we got in the car and headed over to Publix. When we got there, I snapped a couple of pictures of her all wet. The rain stopped on our way to the store, so I figured I’d walk her some more and see if she’d poop.

We walked, and walked, and walked. Another 10 minutes went by and still no poopage! So I finally decided I could delay no longer and we went into Publix.

Hestia was very good in Publix! She pulled twice, but other than that she was a gem. I think she was so very happy to be inside a warm, dry store.

After we got done at Publix, we headed over to Starbucks. If you get a drink today at Starbucks via the app, then you get a coupon for a free one next week! That’s too good an offer to pass up!

I placed my order via the app and then we drove over. The drive through line was very very long. I tried waiting in it for about 5 minutes, but we only moved up two car lengths. So I parked and we walked in. They had my coffee ready, and just had to squirt out a puppachino for Hestia.

Puppachinos are Hestia’s favorite thing ever in the entire world! They are a little bit of Starbucks’ whipped cream in a small cup. She thinks the universe revolves around puppachinos!

In the parking lot, I gave Hestia her puppachino and took lots of pictures of her enjoying it. She had the best time! I think in her opinion getting drenched earlier in the day was worth it to get a puppachino!

On the way back home, we stopped by the pharmacy to pick up Ollie’s meds, and one had gone down in price by $3! Yay!

Now we’re home, the groceries are put away, and Hestia is finally drying out. She wore a raincoat this morning on our walk so her back and tail stayed dry. But her head and underneath got soaked. I think she will sleep well today what with all the extra walking we did!

Oh, and she still hasn’t pooped!

Pictures are below. They show a small white and black dog with a smushed nose and googley eyes. The first two pictures show her drenched sitting in the car. The next two pictures show her in her purple and blue galaxy service dog vest in front of some chips at Publix. The last 10 pictures show her in her vest and seatbelt in the car enjoying her puppachino. I got some really funny pictures of her with her tongue out, with whipped cream all over her face, and making funny faces!
