NAMI walk: Headless Horseman Rides Again 2

Today we had the NAMI walk for 1 in 4.  1 in 4 people are affected by mental illness.  Hestia wore her headless horseman costume, I figured it was kinda appropriate for NAMI.  She was a big hit with the costume!

It was at Cherry Park, and it was a lot of fun!  There was a huge turnout, with lots of people and lots of dogs.  Most of the dogs were way overstimulated and literally knocking their handlers down charging to go meet other dogs.  So I carried Hestia for the start of the walk!

We got to see lots of people at the walk, probably because I was walking so slowly that people kept passing us LOL.

Empress, fabulous wardrobe choice!! Love the pic of you, Brad, and Hestia <3 Thank you for taking part in this–hoping to be able to do one someday, even if it means a wheelchair ride! 🙂
