Yesterday I took Felix to agility class! I thought my pain was better in my leg, even though my muscle relaxers from the ER had run out. I was still on high doses of naproxen so I figured it’d be OK in my wheelchair.
Felix did a great job in agility! Here are three videos of him doing the weave poles (they are offset at angles to make it easier), doing jumps and a tunnel, and going higher than ever on the teeter!
Unfortunately, agility class involves a lot of bending over, so my leg started to hurt more and more and more. I was in quite a bit of pain by halfway through class, and that’s when Felix pretty much lost focus. He started not wanting to do the things, and just wanting to play. So we let him play for a bit and integrated some work in there.
By the end of class, I was in a lot of pain, so I had a hard time driving home. But I made it and was so happy to collapse in my throne of a chair that I got!
I emailed my GP about my ER visit and asked if I could get a refill on my meds. She did agree to give me a refill, but I have to come in Monday morning to see her about my leg pain and why it’s still continuing.
Agility class was worth it, though. It is great to see Felix so happy! He really loves going to agility!
