The three musketeers and…tater tot nachos? 4

Today the three musketeers met up– that is CJ, Dan, and me.  CJ and I go swimming first, then we pick up Dan and head to lunch, then hang out.  I have to do this without my service dog because she really doesn’t like me being in the water.  Luckily CJ is my service human whenever I’m without Hestia!

We swam a full 30 minutes again today!  I am very proud of us!  We are spending more time swimming and less time talking/recovering from swimming.  It is nice to see the progress.

On the way to pick up Dan, CJ told me more about playing his saxophone.  He has been practicing it a lot recently and has a plan to have a party sometime and provide the music for it!  I am looking forward to hearing CJ play!

Then we picked up Dan and headed to a burger place.  I got tater tot nachos LOL!  I couldn’t resist!  It was good, but a lot of food, so I took half of it home for dinner.  Then we went to Dunkin Donuts for coffee/tea/hot chocolate etc.  I am getting to know the lay of the land in Dan’s part of town, so I am remembering how to get to these places now.

Then we went back to Dan’s house and put together some NAMI flyers.  We talked, CJ played music on his phone, and we generally had a great time.  The topic of age came up, and I had thought Dan was in his early 40s, like 41 or something.  Turns out he is almost 50!  He looks great for his age!

At one point, CJ brought us some water and lemonade and we all toasted to our spouses (we do this almost every time we meet) for being so supportive and helping us so much.

I can’t remember everything we talked about, just that we talked and it was fun.  There was a lot of laughter.  I am really liking this swim and hang out thing we’ve got going!
