Heeling at Sam’s 2

(Video below.) Today we went to Sam’s to pick up some things and work on Hestia’s heeling.  It was surprisingly easy to push the basket and use the kong stuffing to treat Hestia, but I’m going to have to get more of that stuff!

Overall I give Hestia a B+ on the outing.  What we need to work on is her sniffing the floor.  It’s just right there, so it’s not hard for her to dip her neck a bit and snorfel around on the floor.

We got a video of Hestia heeling next to the shopping cart, and another video of her walking through a very messy aisle with lots of food on the floor.  Overall she did pretty well, and I even got to jackpot her when we passed a full sized meatball on the floor!

I’m really proud of myself for keeping up my New Year’s resolution to work on heeling every single day.  And I’ve gotten video of it almost every day, too!  But I don’t send out the little heeling videos to my family and friends and list members because they aren’t really all that interesting.  Just documentation of how our heeling is going.  But you can always comment and check the box to subscribe to the blog and get notified every time something new gets put up!
