Midpoints and downs—doggies to the rescue! 1

For the past few days I’ve been having “interesting” mood changes.  I will be suicidally depressed for 20 min to an hour.  Then I feel OK for a few hours.  It feels like I am rapid cycling between mediums and downs and not ups and downs.  I guess the good news is that my antipsychotics are working to control my manias.  But the depressions are hard.

Hestia has done a great job on picking up on my depressions and responding to them on her own.  She runs over to the couch and I have to help her up (she doesn’t think she can get on or off the couch on her own) and then she gives me deep pressure therapy on my chest.  Ollie gets in on the act, laying his legs and head on my lap how he was trained to help me, too.

So I took some pictures of what I am seeing while I am depressed– close up doggies!

Ollie and Hestia together. Ollie is laying on my lap, Hestia is laying on my chest. Hestia has her new bandana on, and my Tink blanket is in the picture, too.
