Yesterday I got to hang out with the three musketeers! Normally we start off the day by Doc and me going swimming. But I was in too much pain 🙁 In getting off of one of my antipsychotics, I forgot it was helping with my pain from endometriosis. Now that I am off that med, my pain is a LOT worse. For three days I was in pain around 8-9 on the 10 point pain scale! Yesterday was day 6 of the pain, but it was much less. It was only about a 3 on the pain scale, so I could hang out with friends. But I didn’t want to risk jumping in cold water or moving too much and the pain coming back, so no swimming.
Anyway, I went over to Doc’s house and we hung out for a while and chatted. It was nice! Then we picked up Dan, whom I hadn’t seen for about a month! It was so good to see him again! We drove to my house to hang out. Normally we stay up near Doc and Dan’s houses when we hang out, so it was special to have them come over here. Brad was really happy to see them, too!
We didn’t stay long, and we headed out for dinner. We went to a sushi place which was tasty! I got a Hawaiian roll, but it needed some pineapple in it. It was tasty, but could have been super tasty with pineapple! Outside the restaurant I got a selfie of us, the three musketeers.
Then we headed over to our NAMI meeting, where Doc and I were co-facilitators. There were just 4 people in the meeting (it is slow during the summer time) but it was still a really good meeting! Everyone got to talk about what was going on with them, and everyone got help.
But boy was I exhausted when I got home! I’m not used to staying out that late! Below is the picture, enjoy!
