Yesterday we went over to Doc and Melissa’s house for an excellent dinner with our friends Jordan and Cassandra there, too! Both Cassandra and Melissa use Overtone to dye their hair fun colors—it is a conditioner that deposits color on the hair and works even on darker colored hair. Melissa gave me a sample jar of teal dye, so when I got home I dyed a streak of my hair teal! It is a dark teal, and it is the first two inches of the hair on the left side of my face, from root to tip.
Today our friend Tami and her service dog Chili came to visit us on their way back to Arkansas! It was great to see them again! Hestia and Chili really had a blast interacting with each other, and Hestia even convinced Chili to play a little bit!
We went to an Indian restaurant for lunch and it was the first time Tami had ever had Indian food! Luckily she loved it! It was buffet style, which is very hard for Hestia and me. It is difficult to manage a plate and get food while holding onto a leash and making sure Hestia doesn’t try to sample the dropped food on the floor! We made it through with my non-robot-service-dog Hestia getting one piece of rice……
We had a great time talking with Tami, and she got to meet Ollie, too! Brad got some excellent pictures of us and especially of Hestia and Chili. I am wearing my yellow ruffled dress with purple guinea pig leggings. When vested, Hestia has on her yellow and black Hufflepuff vest. Tami is shorter than me with long brown hair and a teal shirt. Chili is a yellow Chihuahua, about the same size as Hestia (though Hestia has much more hair!). Enjoy the pictures!
That was the Best Day ever. I had so much fun Seeing you guys and I think it was a great visit. I Loved widening my horizons by trying Indian Food which I loved and Homemade Kombucha which was delicious. I really wish I could be over that way more often.
