Frolicking in the fair weather 2

The weather here in Rock Hill has been wonderful today. The highs were in the upper 70s. Around 7PM, it was about 75 degrees and we decided to take the pups on a walk. It was gorgeous out! Thanks to my regular swimming, my endurance is up, so we were able to go farther than usual.

We saw a baby puppy and two cats while out. The dogs were very good with all three. One cat we passed 1 foot from! I didn’t see it until we were already past it because it was crouched down and blending in near some plant growth, otherwise I wouldn’t have gotten so close! We got to say hello to many neighbors who were also out enjoying the weather.

When we got back to the house, we didn’t feel like going inside, it was just to nice out. So I brought a camp chair and some tea out in the yard and read Twilight. Brad was in his wheelchair reading Lord of the Rings. Both of us were very into our books. Ollie and Hestia were out with us, and they had a great time running around. I got some good pictures of us hanging out in our yard.

While we were out there reading, the door opened from our next door neighbor’s house. They have a little pittie mix named Charlie (female) who is a doll. She LOVES humans and getting pet by them. And she isn’t bothered by Ollie who always greets her with barking. After about 10-20 seconds of barking, Ollie remembers she is friendly and they are companionable together. I got some pictures of the three pups together.

We came back inside now, as it started to get dark. Below are the pictures I took– all with my new cell phone camera! I am pleased with the quality! In all the pictures, I am wearing a turquoise flamingo dress. Brad is wearing a green blazer, blue scarf, and blue shirt. Ollie is a giant silver standard poodle. Hestia is a teeny black and white dog with a smushed face. And Charlie is a small (30 lbs probably) brown and white pittie mix.
