Today was a good day! I showered in the morning and put on what has become my favorite dress, my blue butterfly dress. It is a dark turquoise with purple and gold and blue butterflies on it. It is 50s style in shape, with a halter neck and a bit of black tulle around the bottom. It matches my round turquoise glasses quite well.
Anyway, first we headed out to my pnurse. Pnurse is an abbreviation for nurse practitioner. Last time I went to Dr. Valite’s office, I saw a brand new pnurse named Tiffany. We hit it off well, she understood my meds, seemed to have read my file before meeting me, and talked with us about our upcoming trip to Charleston. All very good.
This time, she remembered what we had talked about last time, appeared to have read my file recently and remembered my meds and concerns! It was awesome! She also remembered that we had gone to Charleston and we got to talk about the Angel Oak tree.
We decided to halve my prozac once again to 10 mg, see how that goes, and then next month maybe drop me off the prozac completely so long as I’m still stable. This is great! Prozac is one of the meds that makes me sleepy, so I’m happy to be lowering and hopefully eventually dropping it. I’ve never thought it did much for me, but it did a little bit. Now with the Latuda, I don’t need the Prozac so much anymore. It has been like 3-4 months that I’ve been on Latuda and I’ve only had two suicidal times! That is awesome for me! I’m used to having suicidal feelings several times a week!
I am very impressed with Tiffany, and very glad she is my pnurse! She seems really good and interested in her patients. Because I was so happy, we asked to take a picture to post in my blog 🙂
After seeing the pnurse, we went to the post office to drop off an Amazon return. Hestia was wearing her purple vest at the pnurse and post office, and I wanted to get more pics of her wearing it. Plus how it matches my favorite dress!
Enjoy the pics!
