The Prodigal Sun 4

Today was the eclipse!  We had plans to go to the zone of totality, but I was just too sick to be able to do that.  So we stayed home and watched the partial eclipse from our driveway.

It was very cool to watch!  I lay on the grass at first, but all the bugs crawling on me got to be too much.  So then I got out the folding camp chair and that was perfect.

I don’t think Hestia had any idea what we were doing outside in the heat for 2 hrs LOL!

Of course Brad took lots of pictures, but he has narrowed them down to about 30 of them.  I’ll post a few of my favorites below, but here is the link to see all the pictures:

When I woke up this morning, I was feeling a lot better.  But after 2 hrs of sitting outside in the heat, I was feeling awful again.  I guess I overdid.  Still, not as bad as my birthday (I think that was the worst day).  I did call my psychiatrist, but he hasn’t returned my call yet.

The eclipse hides behind some clouds for a bit, but streams of sunlight are radiating out from the cloud in a very dramatic fashion
